Season outlook:
Plymouth State finished as the runner up in the NEWA duals and they return six NEWA placewinners from last year’s 4th place team. IN order to help improve on that finish the team has upgraded its schedule and will get out of New England more regularly. MIke Willey was a national qualifier at 157 last year, but he is dropping to 149 to try to repeat as NEWA champ and become an All-American. Josh Huber has placed in the conference twice and should challenge for the top spot again this season. If the rest of the returning placewinners can move higher on the podium and the newcomers can fill the holes in the lineup, a top three finish in New England should be possible for first year head coach Matt Eldredge.
