Season outlook:
Bridgewater State looks to continue its winning ways, but it will be a rocky start as the Bears lost Senior Captains and National Qualifiers Ethan Raymond and Zack Bates, and they have increased the strength of their schedule. Top returning starter Ken Francis is bumping up to 133 and will be a favorite at that weight in the NEWA. Andrew Frazer is dropping a weight class to 184, while Steve McCarthy is going to be up at 141. The team is looking for its younger wrestlers to make the jump to the next level. 2nd semester will be interesting as Pat Walsh (197/285) transfer from The Ohio State will be eligible to wrestle after a year in residence.
