Wrestler of the Week: TJ Miller

The d3wrestle.com Wrestler of the Week for this week is TJ Miller of Wartburg College. The 197 pound senior completed an undefeated week by topping #1 ranked Alec Bonander of Luther College 3-1 in the second Sudden Victory period during #1 Wartburg’s 42-0 shutout of the #7 Luther College Norse. This followed a 3-0 weekend at the NWCA National Duals where Miller also defeated #10 Joe West of Delaware Valley College as Wartburg rolled to the team title as well.

Miller is the defending NCAA champion at 197 and now sits at 15-2 on the year with a tournament championship at the Simpson Invitational and a 2nd place showing at the Harold Nichols open, losing there only to Iowa State starter David Bertolino. Wartburg returns to action this weekend at the IIAC duals at Coe against the host Kohawks, Simpson College, an the University of Dubuque.
