Season outlook:
Last season was the first time in 42 years that Oswego State did not advance anyone to the NCAA Championships.  The Lakers are understandably anxious to begin a new streak this year and are looking for several individuals to be in contention to earn a spot in the 2011 national tournament.  Omar Santiago, Blake Fisher, Tony DeFranco, Marc Collins, and Kyle Sheridan are all returning Empire placewinners, and Cameron Mills brings a 42-17 career record to 2010-2011 after missing last year with an injury.  The top incoming wrestlers are NY placewinner Michael Gentilcore and NY qualifier Angelo Dinottia.  This team will have a chance to get back to the NCAA Championships, but it won’t be easy in the improving ECWC.
