Season outlook:
Whitewater begins their 50th year of wrestling in 2010-2011, and the Warhawks will be looking to replace some talented wrestlers after losing two All-Americans to graduation and returning just four starters from last year’s WIAC tournament.  Last year, Whitewater was 2nd in the WIAC to national runner-up La Crosse, and it will take some new starter and incoming freshman stepping it up a notch to match or exceed that performance.  At least six state placewinners make up part of a large freshman class, so there should be good competition at most weights, with veterans at 197 and 285 as the team leaders.  The Warhawks will take to the road this year as well, traveling to Pennsylvania for both the North/South Duals and Budd Whitehill Duals to help them get ready for the NCAA tournament back home in Wisconsin.
