Season outlook:
With six regional placewinners back, Olivet has a strong team already, and the addition of three good transfers will be an additional help.  One thing that will help the Comets as much as anything is the departure of Delaware Valley for the Metro Conference.  They took some wildcard slots with them, but the road to a Regional championship just got a bit easier for the stronger teams remaining in the Midwest Region.  National qualifier Lahar is back in his last chance to capture that elusive All-American award, and he is flanked in the lineup by a pair of Regional 3rd place winners in Wilson and Mena.  Each of those two, however, could have some strong incoming wrestlers to deal with as they seek to retain their starting spots.  It is not a terrible problem for Olivet to have, as whoever makes the cut at certain weights will have proven himself before he faces outside competition.
