NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Winners
Two Division III wrestlers were awarded NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships this year. Only 29 male winter athletes in all of the NCAA were awarded these scholarships, making it a prestigious honor. The Division III wrestlers are Rob Kramer of Coe and Jacob Gire of Trinity.
The scholarship is for $7,500 to be used toward graduate education. Kramer, wrestling for Coe, was a two time All-American and set the Coe career record for falls while accumulating the second most wins in program history. Gire was a four time NEWA placewinner, winning 93 matches in his career for the Bantams.
