Elizabethtown Preview

Coach Eric Walker hopes that the combination of a move to the Metropolitan Conference as well as the return of all 10 starters from 2007 will add up to a successful season in 2008. Elizabethtown has come a long way since the early part of the decade, when at times they had trouble fielding the minimum six wrestlers for an official dual meet. On at least one occasion, they were forced to cancel a match for this very reason. That was before Coach Walker, however, and the team continues to improve as he rebuilds a team that has seen success in the past and even had national champions. Adding strong programs in Division III makes the whole group better, and Elizabethtown is headed in the right direction.
