The d3wrestle.com Wrestler of the Week is Clayton Davidson of Ohio Northern. Davidson went 4-0 to help the Polar Bears to a 3-1 record at the Washington & Lee Duals. He got two wins via a forfeit against Keystone and a first period pin against King’s. It got tougher from there as Davidson met the #6 and #10 wrestlers from the December 12th NWCA rankings. Against #6 AJ Aeberli of Coast Guard, Davidson prevailed with a 4-0 decision, and he took an 8-3 victory from #10 Matt Marcotte of North Central. Those wins pushed Davidson to a 13-7 record on the year.

Davidson, a junior mechanical engineering major from Kirtland, Ohio, has a career record of 67-34 with 19 pins. He competed at 157 as a freshman before moving up to 174 his sophomore year. He was 4th at the Mountain Union Invitational, Findlay Open, and Ohio Northern Invitational this season. Davidson and the rest of the Polar Bears are off for the holidays and will return to action January 4th and 5th at the NWCA National Duals.
