Season Outlook:
Springfield College wrestling eclipsed the 1000th dual meet victory mark in 2017, becoming the 4th NCAA program in all of collegiate wrestling to accomplish this feat. The Pride graduated national qualifier Zach Joseph and regional placer Geovanni Medina but returns two-time national qualifier Hunter Ayen, regional placer Ian Tolotti, scholar All-American Joe Fusco, and five other starters from the 2017 Regional Championships who will look to make their mark in 2018. Springfield has also brought in a solid group of talented young freshmen and transfers. Springfield College will wrestle a competitive schedule that will help them as they will compete at the Ithaca Invitational, Doug Parker Invitational, Petrofes Invitational hosted by Messiah College, and the Budd Whitehill Duals hosted by Lycoming. Springfield College will certainly be battle tested when it comes time for Cleveland, Ohio in March.
